Vintage 1950's View Master

First released in 1939, the View-Master was invented as a fun 3D picture viewing object for adults on everything from art and travel, to cartoons and history. 

This original tortoise brown View-Master from 1951 is made from the very first entirely synthetic plastic called Bakelite, which revolutionized the way consumer goods were manufactured. By the late 60's, new technologies in the world of plastics made Bakelite obsolete, making these vintage View-Masters highly collectable today.
