Vintage 1940's Valentine Pillow

This vintage pillow case from the 1940's is made from hand-dyed silks and cottons, and features a Valentines poem with a dedication from Jim to Ester.

As with all souvenir cases from back in the day, one end was always left open, not only so it could travel and be mailed easily, but also so the pillow could also be easily replaced.
